EDTA Chelation Therapy
EDTA Chelation is used to rid the body of excess toxins, calcium and particularly heavy metals. EDTA is an amino acid derived from a mineral source where it binds with heavy toxic metals such as cadmium, lead, mercury, aluminum and excretes them from the body through our urines.
EDTA is also used in the treatment of atherosclerosis and other circulatory disorders. In atherosclerosis, deposits of cholesterol, fats and other substances accumulate on the wall of arteries in the form of hard plaque. Calcium has been found to act as the “glue” that holds the atherosclerotic plaque together. EDTA binds with this calcium and carries it out of the body, breaking up the plaque deposits, unclogging the arteries and permitting more normal blood flow. EDTA also has blood thinning effects and discourages the formation of blood clots that can cause heart attack or stroke.
Benefits include:
- Removes unwanted toxins, heavy metals, plaque deposits and excessive minerals.
- Lowers elevated cholesterol level and provides preventive care for those with a family history of heart problems.
- Enhances blood flow and circulations.
- Helps to ease cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease and hypertension.
This is a safe, nonsurgical treatment.
